There are three ways for you to get involved in the ministry in Liberia.

First, you can pray. Pray for strength and health for the missionaries and pastors here in Liberia who are preaching the Word of God without compromise and standing for the truth. Paul tells us in Ephesians 6:12—“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” And in verses 18-20 he says we should be “praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, ... that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.” (For more specific requests, click here.)

Second, you can give. While our personal support is sufficient at this time, our work with the pastors and churches constantly puts us in touch with a multitude of needs—our Bible schools and clinic, church buildings, special ministry opportunities, physical needs, etc. If you would like to give to our ministry, click here to be taken to Baptist Mid-Missions “giving” webpage. You can either give by mail or online by clicking on the “Paypal” logo on the right of the page. Write “for the ministry of the Sheppards” in the box entitled “add special instructions for the merchant.”

Finally, you can personally participate in the harvest. Click here to be taken to BMM’s “opportunities” webpage to find out more information on mission trips and becoming a short term or career missionary.

Thank you, and God bless!
